The Department has been showing a steady increase in the quality and quantity of publication over the course of time. Our department has publications in prestigious journals such as the OOO journal, British Medical Journal, Oral Diseases etc. These journals are in turn indexed in prestigious databases such as Pubmed, Scopus, Thomson and Reuters and Web of Science. The current total number of publications by the staffs and students are 505 and counting !

It is a peer-reviewed online journal with semiannual print-on-demand compilation of issues published. The journal publishes all papers that are in the scope of expanding knowledge in the field of legal dentistry, record maintenance, forensic anthropology, mass disasters, forensic genetics, material science, forensic medicine and so on. The Journal is published in January and July from authors across the globe.

IJOR Journal

International Journal of Oral Rehabilitation, a publication of the department of oral medicine, Radiology and Special Care Dentistry, Saveetha Dental College & Hospitals, is a peer-reviewed biannual online journal with print-on-demand compilation.

The journal intends to publish articles on mucosal lesions, management of medically complex patients, and other aspects of oral radiology and special care dentistry.
